I went to the junkyard near me to see if I could find a center armrest for my F-150 that has the cupholders; mine does not because it’s a poverty-spec XL. There was only one 11th-generation F-150 there, but unfortunately it didn’t have a front bench. I’ll probably have to get one thru eBay.
I didn’t take a lot of pics because it was starting to get a little warm, but I did spot a couple rarities.
Here’s a Fiat 850 Spider, shown actual size. Seriously, this thing was so tiny! I bet it was a blast when it was running.
Here’s it s tiny little engine. So cute!
A non-turbo ‘87 300ZX. It was a manual.
3rd-gen Civic, seen here posing with my finger. My mom had one like this, except hers was so base model that it didn’t even come with the rubber strips on the doors that this one has. There wasn’t much rust on this one, and that made me sad. Too bad it couldn’t have been saved.
Finally, a 3rd-gen Accord hatch. I don't remember seeing too many of these in red.

Are any of them F-150's? Ask if I can snag their armrest

I love the 850 Spider! I mean, I love the classic 124 Spider too, but I like quirky thing
s, and the 850 was rear-engined, so that makes it more awesomer. :P

It was so small, but I still would love to squeeze inside one and take it for a spin. Probably literally.

I enjoyed this episode. The silly man thought possums carry rabies.

My brain is screaming save the 850. There is that place in CO selling a bunch of part Fiats 850s included. Also me, I dreamed of trying to rebuild a RX7 FBs and the cars kept disappearing. Also me, does not have ability to a fix my daily driver.

The interior of this one was pretty tragic. I think it was beyond help.

Did you watch the whole series? :P

They're good looking cars. Probably fun to drive as well.

Yeah, they’re just not worth enough to restore when they get in real bad shape. Also, most of the surviving ones seem to have spent the last few decades sitting under a tarp in someone’s backyard, so it isn’t like there’s a shortage of crapped out examples available for dirt cheap.

My first car was a light blue Fiat 850 Spider. From the age of 13, I worked as a caddy at a local country club and saved every penny to buy a car (of course, it was a country club that would never allow me as a member, or guest). When I was 16, there was a Fiat 850 for sale at a local used car lot, and I grabbed it. It was incredibly fun to drive.

I think one would make a fun little project car! :D
Pity the 850 Coupe was never more common around here though, I prefer hardtops to convertibles...

To show scale, of course.

I think I watched him get it started; maybe 3 episodes?
